About Monash Health Bureau

Monash Health Bureau is an efficient workforce unit that allocates over 450 shifts per day across Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital and Kingston Centre.  We deliver experienced nursing and midwifery staff to meet the demands of a multi specialised organisation.

About the opportunities

We are now recruiting professional and skilled Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives and Enrolled Nurses to join our Nursing and Midwifery Pool as permanent part time employees to work a minimum of 32 hours a fortnight up to a maximum of 72 hours a fortnight.   Choose to work across our different sites and specialties including:

  • Acute Medicine - Emergency, General Medicine
  • Surgery and Interventional Services -Anaesthetics, General surgery, Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Orthopaedic surgery, Monash Heart, Plastic surgery, Renal surgery
  • Speciality Medicine – Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Oncology, Palliative Care 
  • Sub-Acute - Aged Care and Rehabilitation, Residential Services
  • Community – Hospital in the Home, Post-Acute Care
  • Women's  - Birth Unit, Ante and Post Natal
  • Monash Children's Hospital- Paediatrics, Intensive Care

You will have the ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, visitors and colleagues enabling you to deliver exceptional care. You will be the face of Monash Health Bureau workforce and consistently demonstrate our core values.

About You

  • You are an experienced Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife or Enrolled Nurse with a strong focus on patient centred care.
  • You will have the flexibility to work to a rotating roster which includes morning, afternoon and night shifts across Monash Health sites
  • You will be required to work across a minimum of three Sites at Monash Health.

What you need to have

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current Employee Working with Children’s Check
  • Proven relevant experience and/or qualifications.
  • Relevant working visa

What to expect

  • Input your availabilities and receive your roster via our electronic system
  • You will receive your roster six weeks in advance
  • Exposure to a variety of hospital settings and working with Monash Health’s exceptional health care clinicians
