About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Patient Experience Coordinator to join the Patient Experience team at Monash Health.

In this dynamic role you will:

  • partner with patients, carers and consumers to improve the safety, quality and experience of care at Monash Health
  • support patient experience improvement across the health service using project management skills
  • analyse and report data in a way that clearly conveys results, highlights priorities and opportunities for improvement

About You

Your knowledge of person-centred care and patient experience principles, ability to build rapport and your engaging and clear communication style will form the foundation of your interactions. Excellent written and oral communications skills, high level computer/Microsoft skills and an organised, outcome-oriented work style are essential in this role.

Selection Criteria Demonstrated understanding of patient experience, patient centred care and consumer participation in health care.

Experienced in analysing, reporting and presenting data in a way that clearly conveys results, highlights priorities and opportunities for improvement.

Excellent communication skills including an ability to write in a quality, clear and engaging way.

Ability to engage, build rapport and collaborate with a diverse range of people including staff at all levels, patients, carers and consumers to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.

Experience and/or skills in project coordinator or project support in a health service environment.

Proven ability to manage high volume and varied workloads, competing priorities and ensure work is completed on time to a high standard.

A high degree of computer literacy including exceptional Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the willingness and skills to learn new programs quickly.
