Position Summary

About the Role:

Early in Life Mental Health Service (ELMHS) provides assessment and treatment for infants, children, young people and their families in the Southern Region. We work with the 0-18 age range and work with people who are experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, self-harm, school difficulties, eating disorders and suicidal ideation.

ELMHS has an Exciting opportunity within the Intensive Mobile Outreach Team. We are offering a maternity cover position for a senior clinician co-located with Berry Street providing tertiary mental health education, consultation, assessment, treatment and care coordination services to Berry Street Victoria Intensive Case Management Service (ICMS).

About You:

This position will suit an experienced mental health clinician with a strong trauma and attachment framework who is able to provide evidence based practice to a vulnerable high risk group.

This exciting opportunity will interest an individual who thrives in working autonomously with experience in:

  • Providing educational training, consultation and liaison expertise;
  • Offering therapeutic treatment service to a small number of young people with complex needs;  
  • Working collaboratively with an external agency, developing behaviour and risk management plans, treatment planning and you are creative in your approach; and
  • Working collaboratively with the care and protection system to enhance client outcomes.This role is funded as a Grade 3 Allied Health Clinician, Grade 3 Psychologist and Grade 4 Nursing Qualifications. (PL4, YC49, NP50, YB54, YB27) This position is available now on a FT permanent basis.
