About Stepping Stones at MCH

Stepping Stones, located within the Monash Children's Hospital, Clayton is a 15 bed inpatient unit with a five place Transition Program that works with young people aged 12-18 years who are experiencing acute and severe mental health problems. Enjoy working in a new environment with brand new facilities. About you

As an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)Nyou will have mental health experience and possess a patient-centred approach with an excellent bedside manner. You will have a strong flexible approach to time management whilst assisting the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate discharge planning and assist with the facilitation of the daily group program.  You will be a recognised member of the nursing team. We currently have two full-time ongoing roles working on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday.

What you need

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Proven clinical experience
  • Postgraduate qualifications in mental health
  • Relevant working visa
  • Current mental health experience
