Position Summary
  • An exciting opportunity is now available to support the implementation of Monash Partners newly created Data Sharing Agreement and Principles, across our partner organisations.
  • The Project Manager is an integral member of the team, and will work closely with the Data-Driven Healthcare improvement Project Manager.
  • Fixed Term (12 month) contract, appointment (0.6 – 0.8 EFT, 22.8 - 30.4 hours per week)
  • Based at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton (once work from home COVID-19 restrictions ease)

About Monash Partners Data Initiatives

A priority for MP is integrating large-scale data sets to undertake research and quality improvement across the primary care, acute and sub-acute continuum, including electronic medical record related activity. To address this priority, MP has developed a Data Sharing Agreement and Principles through extensive engagement with all relevant stakeholders. These have been endorsed and are ready for implementation across MP’s partner organisations.

About the Role

This role will facilitate the Implementation of the “Monash Partners Data Sharing Agreement and Principles”.

The process requires organisations to:

  • Map the current processes for approvals for new data sharing arrangements
  • Identify those who presently evaluate these decisions
  • Assess whether the same process will continue, and/or make changes as agreed
  • Streamline processes for applications with agreed transparent pathway development
  • Implement an electronic system for applications
  • Develop resources and training to assist with upskilling of approvers and applicants

The Monash Partners Project Manager will assist the organisations in their implementation of the “Monash Partners Data Sharing Agreement and Principles”.

About You

The professional, tertiary qualified candidate we are seeking will be an experienced project manager with proven ability to meet operational and project targets. Superior interpersonal, written and oral communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to liaise, mediate and influence are essential. The role requires sound analytical and problem-solving skills, along with demonstrated high-level organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time, plan work to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure. Experience in implementation of a major change initiative would be advantageous.

What you need:

Relevant tertiary qualifications together with extensive experience in project management.
