We are one of a number of wards which had lead Ward Governance - a system to optimise care outcome for out patients, by collaborating with specialised disciplines to meet the clients health goals, under this structure, we recognise and encourage all team members to engage in innovative activates to improve the patients experience. In line with this, clerical team members will be encouraged to communicate in harmony with the consumer, medical, allied health and pharmacy team members.
About the Role
We are looking for a clerical team member who works under the supervision and delegation of the Nurse Manger. The Clerical team member is responsible for maintaining excellent service delivery by improving the patient experience. The role is responsible for but not limited to:
- Management of patient information
- Booking outpatient appointments
- ordering and management of medical/surgical consumables for the unit;
- Booking of patient transport
About You

What you need:
- Previous experience in working with Health Informatics
- Completed medical terminology course
