About the role

Reporting to the Nurse Manager (NM) the Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will work within a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team environment and proactively contribute to our vision of “exceptional care, outstanding outcomes” of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Cardiac CT Services. This is a full-time limited tenure (12 month) relief role.

About You

You have a genuine passion in interventional cardiac nursing. You are a high achiever with proven ability to deliver successful outcomes across service delivery, resource management, and professional and technical competence areas. You communicate effectively, able to build rapport and engage with others at all levels to deliver outcomes in a timely manner.  

You also have:-

  • demonstrated management & clinical leadership experience, ideally in a similar role
  • a high level of proficiency with a range of technology solutions
  • proven time management and excellent communication skills
  • critical thinking, analytical & problem solving skills
  • genuine thirst for learning and open to further study

What you need

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in Cardiac Catheterisation & Interventional Laboratories specialty nursing desirable
  • Relevant working visa
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Current Working with Children’s Check

Selection Criteria Ability be on site at Monash Medical Centre in under 30mins for on call services

Ability and flexibility to participate in and perform services during over-time and emergency recall

Able to work Saturdays as roster operational needs require
