About the Role

An opportunity exists for a 6 month appointment to the Monash Health Paediatric Emergency Department, commencing 5 August 2019. The position would be suited to a RACP advanced trainee, or a RACP basic trainee in their 3rd year of training.

Applicants with at least 2 years experience in paediatrics including 6 months of neonatal experience will also be considered. The position is based in the Emergency Department and will meet RACP requirements for 6 months acute training if an advanced trainee in general paediatrics; or will meet PEM requirements, or paediatric component of training for ACEM trainee. The position also includes rotation out of Emergency to cover ward based registrars annual leave.

There is a possibility for a suitable applicant to be allocated to annual leave cover only with only a few weeks work within the Emergency Department.
