Allambee Nursing Home provides permanent & respite specialist Aged Mental Health care with 35 private rooms providing a homelike setting to assist our care recipients remain as independent as possible. We employ highly qualified and experienced staff to help our vulnerable care recipients and be an advocate for them.

Our team know that our care recipients' well being depends on more than just health care. Our specialised staff will work within a team environment, to make the most of each day while helping prepare for the future.

About The Role

We are currently looking to fill an Associate Nurse Manager role, for a Permanent Full Time opportunity working across a rotational roster with varying shifts across morning, afternoon and minimal nights with flexibility over 7 days.

This is a Clinical Leadership role working in a hands-on capacity to support the outstanding care we provide as a team.  In charge of each shift, you will guide and assist for escalated challenges and care, mentor staff along with supporting the management team and organisation within your role capacity, taking responsibility of a portfolio supporting outcomes and delivery of care. 

About You

As a current Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) OR experienced Registered Nurse, you can bring your leadership expertise with demonstrated knowledge of Aged Care & Mental Health with a genuine passion and interest in this environment. 

You will have a resilient and a non-judgemental approach from experiencing challenging situations in your line of work within a residential setting providing care and assistance each day. To be further considered for this role, you would need to have:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the newly implemented National Aged Care Standards
  • Experience and involvement of ACFI documentation and reporting
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check
  • Relevant Australian working rights
