Monash Health is an impressive organisation of seven public hospitals, 21 community health sites, five aged care facilities, university affiliated international research and tertiary education. We provide healthcare for the entire lifespan from pre-birth to palliative care and all stages in between, and we have recently opened the new 230-bed Monash Children’s Hospital.

About the Role

Monash Doctors Workforce (MDW) is responsible for medical workforce planning and the recruitment of senior medical staff (SMS) and junior medical staff (JMS) across Monash Health. The MDW is also responsible for managing JMS rotations, providing employee service functions to JMS and SMS and for providing policy advice on all issues relating to the employment of medical staff at Monash Health. 

The Coordinator – Operations is responsible for operational functions under the guidance of the Monash Doctors Workforce Team Leader, and Manager - Operations.  

The incumbent will undertake the role in a manner that demonstrates commitment to the positive leadership behaviours of Monash Health, to the principles of working together and to Monash Health’s Vision, Purpose and Values.

About you

You are an experienced administrator with excellent negotiating skills, excel and outlook knowledge.  You demonstrate the ability to problem solve and liaise professionally with all demographics of staff within the Health industry.  Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role.
