About the Unit

The Monash Hospital in the Home (HITH) Satellite clinic provides ambulatory treatments to COVID-19 patients through an infusion center located offsite to the main hospital campus. This clinic services a broad area of Southeast Melbourne.  The service involves identifying, screening and consenting patients who are eligible for COVID-19 therapies – in particular sotrovimab, casirivimab/imdevimab (monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of COVID-19) and other emerging therapies. The clinic is also soon to commence delivering therapies at home (with telehealth medical support for nursing staff in the patient residence)

About the Role

We are looking for positive, committed, and inspiring PGY3/+ Junior Registrar or General Practitioners to join our dedicated teams who are delivering exceptional care and outstanding outcomes for our patients.

The role is suitable for a doctor or General Practitioner who is PGY3/+ or above and can work as a Registrar.  It is suitable for RACP trainees including BPTs and APTS.  It may also be suitable for Trainee in other college including Emergency Medicine, General Practice, and Intensive Care Medicine.

  • Primary Medical Degree

Selection Criteria A current Employee Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for all medical staff. If you have a WWCC please list the number and expiry date. If not, should you be successful for this position you will be required to supply a copy

You are required to attach a copy of your Primary & Specialist (if applicable) Medical Qualification in the Education Certificate section in the next step. Please respond YES to confirm your acknowledgement. If successful you will be required to present the original or certified copy to MDW
