About the Mental Health Program

Monash Health Mental Health Program provides a range of community, bed-based and specialist services covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash LGAs – a population of nearly one million. It has an operational budget of $130 million and employs approximately 820 EFT, representing over 1000 staff.

About the Role

The Administration Officer is a key role within ACIS, providing efficient and effective administration/clerical support to the manager and clinical staff. It is a fast paced, demanding and rewarding role and will require the incumbent to demonstrate a variety of clerical skills and abilities.

  • Perform clerical duties including minute taking, word processing, photocopying, faxing, general filing and shredding of confidential material
  • Organise patient movement processes.
  • Assembling patient documents
  • Access patient information via the Electronic Medical record (EMR) and Scanned Medical Record (SMR) as required
  • Receive, prioritise and sort all correspondence   Order and maintain medical record forms,patient identification labels, stationery, equipment and ward stores as required-IPROC
  •    Provide efficient and timely typing and formatting of documents
  • Maintain medical records as per professional and legal standards
