Applications are invited from qualified medical practitioners, registered in Australia, for the position of Radiology Registrar Trainee position. The position would best suit a doctor who is wishing to extend the knowledge in basic science and practice of imaging and gain experience at this level.

About Monash Imaging
Monash Imaging provides imaging services to Monash Medical Centre Clayton, Moorabbin Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital and Monash Children's Hospital. The Monash Imaging Departments are fully integrated with Carestream PACS/RIS and are equipped with some of the latest equipment including six MRI units, eight CT units, more than 25 ultrasound units, six gamma cameras including three with SPECT CT, two PET/CTs and three DSAs.
In 2019 Monash Imaging will embark on a new model of radiology service delivery, being subspecialty reporting. Subspecialisation will enable our imaging consultants to pursue chosen fields of interest whilst maintaining general radiology skill level. This major change initiative has been undertaken to support our vision - `to provide the best diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services for our community, and be the leading academic radiology provider in Australia'

About the Role
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and effective person-centred care, provide teaching and supervision of resident medical staff and students and undertake training towards attaining Fellowship of the relevant college.
- Patient assessment and management in consultation with the treating consultant
- Patient care coordination
- This position begins on the 5th August 2019 for 6 months and will be based across all Monash Health campuses.

What you need
- A medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) which is recognised for registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Trainee of relevant Medical College
- 2 years or more of Registrar training.
