About Music Therapy at Monash Health

The Music Therapy service is integrated across Monash Health, providing clinical services in paediatric and adult inpatient, mental health and community services, operating across Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children's Hospital, Dandenong and Casey Hospitals and the Kingston Centre. We form part of a dynamic allied health team and are committed to a patient centred, evidence based practice and supporting staff to continue their career development and lifelong learning.

This exciting 0.6EFT position (part-time fixed-term) is available to Grade 1 Music Therapy clinicians and form part of our Grade 1 rotation program. Rotation opportunities may include acute paediatrics, Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation service, sub-acute adult rehabilitation and acute adults. Ongoing supervision and professional development opportunities are provided.

What you need:

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Music Therapy from an approved training course;
  • Eligible for current membership and registration with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA) Inc.;
  • Current ARIA Music Therapist Copyright & Reproduction licence
  • All candidates require Australian working rights.
